She took my vision and BLEW IT OUT OF THE WATER. She captured us so well. From me smiling to straight up dying at Joshua, to him acting goofy to smiling, to him looking at me like he just fell in love with me over again and to him looking at my belly like I’ve never seen before. She truly captured all the feelings. My heart and soul have so much emotion & fire. She truly knows how to make someone feel beautiful. She will hands down be my family photographer, my go to person. Ash captured my family PERFECTLY! With 3 young kids, getting photos done can be a very tricky task but everything went so smooth! She was great with the kids and made sure they were laughing the whole session, even if that meant blaring the Bluey theme song on her phone so my 1 year old would smile! I would recommend her and I will be using her for all my family sessions from here on out!

Q: Where are you located/do you travel
I am located in bellefontaine, oh and do travel for most weddings/elopements!
For general sessions, I no longer travel more than 1 hour one way. If you are more than an hour from me i would be happy to meet you somewhere in the middle up to 1 hour from my home!

Q: Do i have to pay anything up front
yes, i do require both portrait sessions and weddings to pay a non-refundable retainer that goes towards your overall investment total.
portrait sessions: 50% due to book, 50% due two weeks before your session
weddings: $1,000 to book, remaining balance due no later than 30-days prior to your wedding date.

Q: When should i book with you
As soon as you know you would like to work together, I recommend reaching out via my inquiry form.
i typically book up 2-3 months in advance with weekend dates being scarce.
weddings: 9 months-1 year recommended
portraits: ASAP

Q: Do you offer payment plans
absolutely! While your retainer is due to secure your date on my books, the remainder balance can be made in as many payments as you wish leading up to the due date! Simply let me know you would like to set up a payment plan upon inquiry and we will get it all figured out!

Q: Do you offer albums
Yes! I offer a various amount of artwork including albums! Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing artwork once your gallery has been delivered and i will send over my pricing guide!

Q: when will i get my images
i greatly appreciate you being patient with me on getting your images back as I take pride in my work and want your gallery to be perfect!
you can expect your images back within the following ranges based on session type and time of year your session takes place.
portraits: 2-3 weeks
weddings: 8-12 weeks
all images will be returned via online gallery without watermarks in both web sized and high resolution files.

Q: what should we wear
if you've booked a portrait session my recommendations on what you wear will be based on a couple factors.
1. location
2. time of year
your outfit and location should be cohesive and easy on the eyes. you'd be surprised at how easily an outfit can make or break your location choice.
time of year. you want to take this into consideration simply because of foliage.
overall, neutrals and simple patterns look best! you also want to coordinate outfits rather than matching to one single color.
if you have any hesitation on your outfits you can always send me your ideas and I can help guide you!

Q: where will my session take place
I always ask when you book if you have a location in mind you would like your session to take place. Sessions are always so much more meaningful and memorable when you have them at a place that's close to your heart.
if you do not have a location in mind no worries, i have plenty of locations you can choose from based on what type of scenery you are looking for or outfit you want to wear!

+ 10 images [additional images are $20 each]
+ Online gallery + Print rights for your images
*additional image invoice will be sent after you have selected your images. Galleries will not be delivered until this additional invoice has been paid.

Q: What is included in most wedding packages
I will be the first to admit, wedding day photography can be pricy, but for good reason. you are paying for the expertise, for the overall experience, for the person you will spend majority of your day with, etc.
when it comes to wedding day coverage, i offer custom quotes for every client because let's face it, no two days are the same. you should have full control over what you want captured during your wedding day!

Q: Can you make me look skinnier
I do not heavily photoshop images. if you are looking for this, we may not be a great fit [and that's totally okay]! I believe in using my craft to show you that you are gorgeous how you are in this moment. i position you in angles that you don't normally think of to do yourself and you get to see yourself in an entirely new light!
things i do edit:
+ Blemishes
+ bruises
+ today's problems, things that won't be there in 2 weeks or 5 years.
things i will not edit:
+ tanlines
+ tattoos
+ hair/outfit color
+ etc.

Q: we are akward, how will this work
don't sweat it at all! you'd be surprised at how many people come to me saying they are awkward and kill it at their session!
you're hiring me for more than clicking a button. i use my 7 years of experience to bring out the raw and authentic emotions of those I share my time with!
